Specialist property lender Blend Network has appointed a long-term investor in the business as a director.
Michael Levy, manager of Yuma Advisory, has been an investor in the company since 2018 and Companies House filings show that he has now become a director for the business.
Blend Network declined to comment on the appointment, however, chief strategy officer Roxana Mohammadian-Molina confirmed that Levy is not a member of the executive team.
Levy has approximately 30 years’ experience in financial services. He has worked at several European banks, including Société Générale, Commerzbank and Barclays. He co-founded 360 Asset Managers in France in 2009 and then set up Yuma Advisory in 2015.
Blend Network raised £10m in 2018 from investors including Cyrus Ardalan, chairman of OakNorth Bank and Jean-Phillipe Blochet, co-founder of Brevan Howard.
Ardalan was also appointed as a director at Blend Network earlier this month.
Blend Network’s latest fundraise was in April, when the property lender secured £120m from a consortium of family offices, which will be used to boost its lending capabilities.
