Brokers will now be able to submit like-for-like product transfers through Coventry for intermediaries online.
The process uses the Iress Mortgage Sales and Origination platform, the use of which requires “simple” online registration, says the lender.
According to Coventry, this will make submissions “simpler, quicker and easier.”
Iress recently ditched its plan to see its UK mortgage business.
Director of mortgage distribution Kevin Purvey says: “We know that brokers’ time is particularly precious right now, and this new feature will help speed up the product transfer process.
“We’re always looking at ways in which we can strike the right balance between simplicity of our processes and quality of service.
“The launch of online like-for-like products via MSO is just the start of a journey and will now see us focus on the next phase which will deliver a new mortgage application and case tracking system.”
