Lightsense Technology, with a valuation of $18 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company has developed a patented technology that uses light to detect illicit drugs, pathogens, and diseases. The spectrometer solutions of Lightsense Technology are based on enhanced photodetection spectroscopy and allow handheld instruments to detect pathogens and drugs in minutes. Lightsense Technology has signed an MOU with a leading technology and engineering company and has many others in discussion. Terje Skotheim founded Lightsense Technology in August 2014. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $9,991.08 and a maximum target of $2,000,006.61. The campaign proceeds will be used for partnerships and revenue growth.
